VON DER WEIBLICHEN LOGIK/ ON FEMALE LOGIC
Nein, es geht hier nicht um einen philosophischen Diskurs, sondern es handelt von einer, die auszog, um Schuhe zu kaufen und mit einem Leinenshirt und Wolle nach Hause kam! Es ist einfach schrecklich. Ich brauche dringend ein, zwei Paar bürotaugliche Schuhe und so wollte ich gestern einen relativ frühen Feierabend nutzen, um in ein, zwei Schuhgeschäfte zu shoppen. Auf dem Weg dahin bin ich an einem Wollladen vorbeigeradelt, und obwohl ich mir bereits am Wochenende gesagt habe, dass ich keine Baumwollstrümpfe benötige, geschweige denn anziehen würde, habe ich mir Baumwollsockengarn gekauft. Diesem Grün konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen!  Die Besuche im naheliegenden und etwas weiter entfernten Schuhgeschäft fiel hingegen ungünstig aus. Es ist ja nicht so, dass es in beiden Geschäften keine Schuhe gäbe die mir gefielen (allerliebste silberne Ballerinas), aber ich benötige eben ein bestimmtes Paar und die, die in dieser Richtung angeboten wurden, gefielen mir nicht. Ich bin aber stolz auf mich, dass ich keines der Paare gekauft habe, die mir gefallen haben. Insofern war die Taktik, den Kaufdrang durch wenige Knäuel Wolle zu befriedigen, gar nicht so schlecht. Somit bin ich billiger weggekommen. Und da ich Geld gespart habe, habe ich mir noch ein entzückendes Nichts von einem Leinen-Shirt gekauft! Das war immer noch billiger, als die silbernen Ballerinas....Weibliche Logik???!!! Meine Wollvorräte wurden gestern noch durch herrliches Alpaka erweitert: aus England habe ich mir ein paar Knäuel Alpaka von Drops bestellt. Es ist wirklich sehr schön. Aus dem grünen Garn werde ich mir ein Paar Luxus-Hausstrümpfe stricken!  Da ich immer noch auf der Suche nach dem ultimativen Garn für den Lace-Leaf-Pullover von Teva Durham bin, habe ich mir noch eine weitere Qualität von Drops bestellt: Eskimo. Das ist ein Dochtgarn aus 100% Schurwolle. Ich habe eine große Schwäche für Dochtgarn und dieses fasst sich wunderbar an. Allerdings habe ich bei diesen Temperaturen keine Lust, auch nur eine MaPro aus diesem Material zu stricken!  This is not a philosophic discourse on logic! This is about how I was suppose to buy myself some desperately needed shoes and how I got home with some yarn and a linnen shirt.
It sucks! I really need one or better two pairs of shoes suitable for office uses. Yesterday, after I knocked off work, I decided to go shoe shopping. En route to one of the shoes-shops, a yarn shop is located and I even though I already decided at the weekend that I do not want to knit cotton socks (and not to mention wearing them!), I bought some Lana Grossa cotton sock yarn: I simply could not resist the lovely green shade which I already spotted in some blogs. My visits in the nearby shoe shops have not been succsessful though. It is not as if they would not offer shoes I like, but those they offered and I liked were thoses I do not need (very cute silver ballerinas). But I need a certain pair of shoes and those, and I disliked those, who tend to be like those I need! But I left the shops without buying any pair of shoes. So I was very proud and thought, well done. In this respect, my tactic buying yarn to satisfy my shopping demand, worked well: it is cheaper buying some yarn than to add another pair of ballerinas in my overcrowded summer-shoes stash. And because I saved money, I bought a cute little Nothing of a linnen shirt. Still, it was cheaper than buying the silver ballerinas… Female logic???
My stash has been enhanced yesterday also with lovely alpaca from Drops, which I orderd from the UK. The colours are gorgeous, the lime-green skeins definitely will turn into a pair of luxury sofa stockings!
I am still looking for the ultimate yarn for Teva Durham’s LACE LEAF PULLOVER. Therefore, I also ordered some new-wool, Eskimo, from Drops too. It is a nice yarn too, but at the moment it is so hot and there is no way that I even knit a sample!
